WV ranks poorly on disclosure, group says

West Virginia is doing a poor job giving the public information over the Internet, according to the non-profit advocacy group “Good Jobs First.” West Virginia ranked 49th in the amount of information people can find on the Internet in three key areas: lobbying, economic subsidies, and state contracts. 

A local union official says the fix would be inexpensive and relatively easy – if the Manchin Administration and the Legislature want to do it.
