Air Guard’s focus turns to Afghanistan mission

Members of the West Virginia Air National Guard were scheduled to arrive in
Afghanistan today, but they instead spending another day in Turkey.  Nothing’s wrong. There were just too many planes on the ground at the base in Afghanistan.  Once, they arrive, the Charleston-based 130th Airlift Wing will run supply missions throughout the region in their big, green C-130 airplanes.
