The (cheap) cost of being a man in Morgantown

WVU’s Bureau of Business and Economic Research reports that housing appreciation in the Morgantown area has has slowed by about 5 percent in the last year. The average growth rate was nearly 8 percent, compared to nearly 13 percent the previous year.

Something else caught our attention the Bureau’s latest report. Economist Amy Higginbotham writes it’s cheaper to be a man in Morgantown. She spoke to Greg Collard on West Virginia Morning.
