No motel tax raise for Huntington

Huntington city council decided after two months of deliberation to keep its current hotel occupancy tax at 3%, rather than doubling it, splitting it between the city and the counties’ Convention and Visitors Bureau. The bureau’s president says it will continue to operate without the additional money from the city.
