Eighty-year-old Felix Krasyck of Charleston is painting again. Back in the 1950s, Felix Krasyck was living in New York, filling canvases with his oil paintings in his spare time. He returned to West Virginia, and for nearly 50 years, those paintings sat in storage.

He dusted them off a couple of years ago and he ended up selling nearly all of them in local shows. He’s back in the art studio again, though figuring out how to do it with his aging body has been a creative pursuit in itself.
