The city of Weirton has gained a reputation for video slot machines because it has more video lottery businesses than any town in the state. But when it comes to counties, Kanawha has the most establishments with video slots – at least 155, according to West Virginia Lottery figures.

Now, the Kanawha County Commission plans to have a series of public meetings to address the proliferation of video lottery parlors in neighborhoods. The meetings will begin in October. Kanawha County Commission President Kent Carper discusses the issue with Greg Collard on West Virginia Morning.
