New book delves into story behind 1907 Monongah Mine Disaster

On December 6th, 1907, a mine explosion in the Marion County community of Monongah killed all but five of the miners working that day. The explosion is considered the worst industrial accident in U.S. history.  A new book that will be released next month, on the 100th anniversary of the Monongah Mine Disaster, recounts the history and disputes the official number of how many people died that day.  Cecelia Mason reports.
