Program helps restore native trees to stream banks

As many of 54 thousand acres of stream side forests have been restored in the Potomac River watershed, thanks to a program run by the Potomac Conservancy.  Since two thousand one, the Conservancy has worked with state forestry divisions and local volunteers to collect native tree seeds that can be grown and planted.
