Residential substance abuse treatment lacking in state

Substance abuse directly affects thousands of West Virginians, but everyone is indirectly affected with the costs the state incurs when substance abuse goes untreated — people often end up in the emergency room or jail. The problem is exacerbated in WV because residential treatment programs, traditionally 28 days long, are in short supply. Emily Corio has more.
