Electric customers can now sell power they generate

West Virginia electric customers now have a bigger incentive to install systems that run off renewable resources like the sun and wind. Customers who generate their own electricity can now sell the excess to the power company. It’s called net metering, and one power company reports more customers are inquiring about it.
