Energy summit focuses on coal’s future

Three governors, one governor-elect and representatives from seven other energy-producing states gathered Tuesday at Governor Manchin’s Energy Summit at Stonewall Jackson Resort. The title of the event was “Advancing Domestic Resources in an Era of Carbon Challenges.”Translation: How to keep coal viable in the face of climate change, and why governors of coal-producing states think we have to.
