Go to wvpubcast.org for latest news from West Virginia Public Broadcasting

We  started this blog more than a year ago to supplement our station’s web site, wvpubcast.org. At the time, we couldn’t provide RSS feeds, and we couldn’t archive our stories. This WordPress blog allowed us to improve our web content.

I’m happy to say it’s no longer necessary to post new content on this blog. We’ve made significant improvements to wvpubcast.org, changes that went live today.

At wvpubcast.org, it’s now easier to listen and read our stories. Our stories are easier to locate, and you’ll be able to access them from our archives. Just type key words in our search engine, and you should be able to find any locally-produced news story.

You can also sign up for RSS feeds. You’ll be notified anytime we post a story.

This is just the beginning. In the future, we will podcast all of our local news programs, including West Virginia Morning and Inside Appalachia. We still have work to do, but we now have the capability to do just about anything we want. So from now on, go to wvpubcast.org for the latest news from West Virginia Public Broadcasting.

In the meantime, we will keep this WordPress blog live so that our archives since April 2007 remain easily accessible to the public.
