Nurses’ strike negotiations remain at impasse

Striking nurses of the West Virginia and Kentucky Nurses Associations are rallying in Charleston today (Monday) with the AFL-CIO and other labor unions. The nurses overwhelmingly rejected the latest offer by Appalachian Regional Healthcare Systems; both sides say they’re at an impasse. On strike since Oct. 1, the deal fell apart over ARH’s back-to-work proposal.
